Corrections
A comparison site trades on accuracy, so error reports are the most valuable email we receive. If something here is wrong, out of date or misleading, this page tells you how to report it and what we do with the report.
How to report an error
Email editor@spinboroughhouse.com with "Correction" in the subject line. Three things make a report actionable:
- Where: the page and, ideally, the sentence or table cell concerned.
- What: the claim you believe is wrong.
- Why: the correct information, with a source if you have one — a link to the Gambling Commission's register entry, an operator's own published terms, or similar.
A source is helpful but not required. "This link is dead" or "this casino no longer offers live roulette" is enough for us to go and check.
What happens next
Corrections jump the queue ahead of all other correspondence. We verify the report against the primary source — for licensing matters, that always means the Commission's public register — and then do one of three things: fix the error, explain to you why we believe the original text is right, or mark the claim as unverifiable and remove it. Materially significant corrections are acknowledged on the affected page; typos and formatting slips are fixed quietly, because a correction notice for a missing comma helps nobody.
What this route is not for
Disputes with a casino — a delayed withdrawal, a voided bonus, a closed account — are between you and the operator, and we have no power over them. Start with the operator's support team; if that fails, every UK-licensed operator must provide a free, independent dispute resolution service, and the Gambling Commission sets out how complaints work from there. We do read such reports with interest, though: a pattern of complaints about an operator is exactly the sort of thing that feeds into a rating at the next review.

We would rather retract a sentence than defend a wrong one. If you take the time to check our claims against the register — which the comparison table is deliberately built to let you do — and find a discrepancy, you are doing this site a favour, and we will treat the report that way.
